I am writing to you with great enthusiasm to express my interest in the offered position. With 14 years of professional experience in the field of high-performance sports nutrition and clinical nutrition, along with a solid academic background, I am convinced that I can contribute significantly and positively to the role.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work as the head of the nutrition department and nutritionist for the first team of Sevilla FC, a Spanish first division team. In this position, I have acquired extensive experience in the nutritional management of high-performance athletes. During this time, the team achieved 5 Europa League titles, 3 consecutively, 4 consecutive qualifications for the Champions League, and historic points records in La Liga.

In addition to my experience in the sports field, I have also specialized in clinical nutrition with a particular focus on the treatment of obesity. I currently work in a multidisciplinary team at the Center of Excellence for the Treatment of Obesity at QuironSalud Sagrado Corazón, serving as the coordinator of the Nutrition Area in this hospital. This experience has allowed me to develop skills in the evaluation and planning of specific diets to improve the health and well-being of my patients.

In the academic field, I previously held roles as a professor in the Nutrition degree and in the Master’s in Sports Nutrition at the University Isabel I. During that time, I discovered my passion for teaching and my ability to convey complex knowledge in an accessible and understandable way. I have worked closely with my students, fostering a collaborative and stimulating learning environment.

My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, a degree in Food Science and Technology, and a Master’s in Nutrigenomics and Personalized Nutrition. This solid academic foundation, combined with my practical experience, has provided me with a comprehensive and up-to-date view of the field of nutrition.

I believe that my professional and personal skills are ideal for the position. I am a sociable, empathetic person with excellent people skills, which allows me to connect easily. Additionally, I am hardworking, enthusiastic, noble, and honest, qualities that I consider essential to fostering a good work environment.

I am highly motivated by the possibility of contributing to the development of the position, bringing not only my theoretical knowledge but also my practical experience in the field of sports and clinical nutrition.
