About me
Experienced and highly qualified Physiotherapist with a master’s degree and further postgraduate qualification, specializing in sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation. I have four years of experience leading the physiotherapist program at a professional football academy, where I developed and implemented a comprehensive model of health now adopted club wide. On top of this role, I provided physiotherapy services to New Zealand Football for multiple age group camps and national tournaments.
I have demonstrated expertise in clinic management and enhancing overall athlete performance and well-being through the integration of multiple protocols of care including sports-related mental health measures, female health measures and return to play processes. I am known and committed to delivering top-tier physiotherapy to aid in fostering athlete performance and resilience through innovative approaches, strong leadership, and a commitment to holistic athlete care.

This role was accountable for leadership and direction of the programme to successfully deliver, manage, and communicate the musculoskeletal and medical health of all players across the 8 teams inclusive of the men’s and women’s reserves teams. Across the teams this encompassed tailored injury prevention programming, baseline measures, acute injury intervention, rehabilitation, and re integration into training, playing, and performance.
This included the creation and implementation of frameworks and protocols of care coupled with clinical management and training of the additional physiotherapists working to deliver this program alongside with the wider support team, including podiatrists, hand therapists, doctors, specialists, sport scientists and others. -
