Hampstead Rugby | North London’s Finest Hampstead Rugby Club is one of the oldest clubs in the world 2020 – Junior’s 10th anniversary.

The club is based out of the Refectory pub next to Golders Green station and plays/trains on Hampstead Heath. All locations are easy to get to from central, west, and north London, using either the northern line, overground, or buses.

We run five Men’s teams and two ladie’s teams and are the largest ‘playing’ club in what can be described as Central London. The club now has established juniors & minis sections, catering for both boys & girls aged 6 – 17 to the game, and we also involve preschool children, with Saturday morning sessions at our Ruggerbugs center.

The standard of play varies a good deal. The 1st XV play in London North West 2: As you go down the teams, the standard becomes much more social, although teams 2 – 5 compete in various Merit Tables. Our Ladies compete in the RFUW leagues, with the Lady’s 1st XV in the national divisions & our Lady’s 2nd XV in the development leagues. Whatever your standard, or level of commitment, we can find a game for you.
