Company Description

The Singapore Canoe Federation is the National Sports Association responsible for the management, coordination, development and promotion of canoeing in Singapore. It represents the interest of its athletes and members to the Singapore Sports Council, Singapore National Olympic Committee, the public and other international canoeing bodies.

Objectives:

  • Promote a high standard of safety and opportunity for participation in full range of canoeing activities in Singapore.
  • Nuture and prepare its elite and potential elite athletes to medal at the SEA Games and other international and regional competitions.
  • Uphold high standards of sportsmanship.
  • Be a champion in the introduction and development of all disciplines of canoeing in Singapore.
  • Promote and make Singapore a venue for regional/international canoeing championships/events.

The Singapore Canoe Federation operates 3 reservoirs, namely The Paddle Lodge @ MacRitchie Reservoir, The Paddle Lodge @ Pandan Reservoir, and Kallang Water Sports Centre.
