Job responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sports medicine staff to develop and implement injury prevention and injury rehabilitation programs for assigned student-athletes. Teach proper technique and provide supervision and motivation as needed. Conduct testing to assess student-athlete performance and improvement. Assist with the development of various educational resources for both coaches and student-athletes. Collaborate with head coaches to develop year-round training programs to meet the demands of their respective sports. Performs other duties as assigned. Essential Skills and Functions:
Must have strong communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic work environment. Must have a strong passion for the profession and be a positive team member on our staff. Must be willing to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends. Must have exemplary ethical conduct and a commitment to follow all applicable NCAA Division III and Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rules and regulations. Observes safety guidelines and follows safety procedures established by the university. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Exercise Science related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a high school or college setting.
- Current NSCA-CSCS and/or CSCCA-SCCC certification.
- Current First Aid, CPR/AED certified.
