Senior Manager, Recruiting Operations – Overtime Elite The Senior Manager, Recruiting Operations oversees the operational logistics and administrative tasks related to the Player Recruiting and Retention department at Overtime Elite.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement recruiting operation strategy that aids in the recruitment of potential OTE athletes and the retention of those athletes once signed
- Manage year-round recruiting, grassroots and scouting calendar with key events
- Oversee recruiting target board with constant updates, ex. relationship intel and changes throughout their recruiting process
- Manage and coordinate OTE unofficial and official visits, recruits and family guests
- Organize and coordinate travel for the Recruiting and Retention Department
- Support Recruiting and Retention staff in obtaining tournament credentials/access to scout prospective athletes
- Oversee and track recruiting travel budget and strategy for scouting opportunities
- Provide recruiting updates and key information to various departments across Overtime
- Manage cross-functional recruiting meetings and information requests from various departments on a weekly basis
- Support compliance and eligibility requests, ex. Transcripts, NCAA ID, etc.
- Maintain a recruiting visits database that is easily accessible for internal reference
- Develop and maintain up to date recruiting presentations
- Collaborate with the graphic designers and recruiting staff to manage basketball recruiting mass communications, including mailings, emails, and other similar correspondence.
- Collaborate and support OTE events team in planning and organizing recruiting events across the industry as necessary
- Facilitate the transition from recruit to signee process to ensure a seamless onboarding post signing
- Synthesize scouting reports and summarize for leadership
Who You Are:
- Familiarity with grassroots basketball and recruiting
- Experience leading Recruiting Operations initiatives
- Highly organized and passionate for sports and athlete development
- Proficient in Microsoft suite, TeamWorks, and other administrative tools
