The positions purpose is to support the implementation of the Academy Mission and Objectives through the delivery of Analysis work within the Professional Development Phase, specifically leading the programme for the U18s. This role will support the overarching age group objectives and commitments to player development in collaboration with the wider multi-disciplinary team. Furthermore, the role will contribute to the creation of bespoke, streamlined data systems and effective workflows to ensure the delivery of the Insights department strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Be an active member of the U18s Multi-Disciplinary team developing, monitoring, and reviewing both team and individual KPI’s across the season.
  • Support the broad player development processes with the MDT to ensure a tailored individual approach.
  • Ensure ‘best practice’ is used throughout the Academy with specific regards to the capturing, coding, and visualisation of video and data.
  • Support the MDT with timely and appropriate presentations / reports to support ongoing and iterative reflections of player performance.
  • Support the alignment and scaffolding of analysis provision throughout the age groups.
  • Contribute to our student learning programme by providing support to staff around coding and presenting of video content.
  • Undertake continued professional development and be in a position to present learnings back to the Insights teams and/or MDT.
  • Support the highest levels of safeguarding.
