Internship Overview

On our paid internship programme, you will gain a real insight into what it’s like to work in our business and have the opportunity to learn from our people whilst working on real business challenges and projects. Each intern receives a customised learning plan to ensure they get the right levels of coaching, mentoring and training as they deliver their work.

Role Expectations

As the Academy Human Performance Intern, you will be expected to:

• Provide support to the Lead Sports Scientist within the U18 and U21 squads, ranging from help with pitch-based sessions or gym-based sessions as well as pre- and post-session interventions.
• Provide support to the day release programme for the YDP squads to further develop players alongside the Academy Sport Scientist.
