The 2026 UniSport Nationals will be held in Perth, Western Australia from Sunday, 27 September to Friday, 2 October 2026 and will see over 5,000 participants from across the country battle it out to be crowned national champions in one of 30 different sports. ACU is seeking experienced coaches across multiple sports to lead and support its student-athletes.

Please note that whilst Perth-based coaches are preferred, ACU will cover flights and accommodation for successful applicants travelling from interstate within Australia.

Teams we are hiring for:

• Men’s Basketball
• Women’s Basketball
• Mixed Oztag
• Mixed Touch Football
• Women’s Water Polo
• Mixed AFL 9’s

About the role:

The Coach will oversee player selection, training, and game-day performance, fostering a strong team culture and representing ACU with pride.

Remuneration:

• $1,250 (plus 12% super) for attendance at all fixtured games throughout the week and a training session on Sunday, September 27th 2026
• Flights and accommodation in Perth is included (if required)

Position responsibilities:

• Provide coaching services for ACU’s selected sport team.
• Lead the team at the UniSport Nationals competition in Perth from Sunday, 27 September to Friday, 2 October 2026.
• Attend ACU Team events including the pre-departure meeting and team dinners (details provided by ACU Sport).
• Deliver Sunday training session and provide tactical and technical guidance throughout the week
• Uphold ACU’s Code of Conduct and promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture
