    Project management, policy development, and implementation of new initiatives across the service delivery system helping support BHSD’s mission of ensuring that our beneficiaries receive access to timely and high-quality services.

    Quality Improvement Division/Quality Management
    Program Manager III:
    Oversee four clinical quality improvement and clinical standards program managers supporting performance improvement across the behavioral health system of care in the County of Santa Clara. Redesign and run Quality Improvement Committee, as well as integrate Mental Health and Substance Use quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) plans.
    Monitor Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment Services delivery system performance, using data-driven decision making to performance improvement, and other quality efforts to improve the access, timeliness, outcomes, and quality of care including:
    • DHCS Triennial and CalEQRO Review Preparations and Responses, including Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs)

    MHPS-II:
    Evaluate and implement comprehensive behavioral health system plans to facilitate positive outcomes through quality patient care. Lead oversight for Children, Youth, and Family Division Functional Assessment Tools (CANS & PSC-35), supporting outcome data collection and throughput of services. Co-facilitated and supported early development of Trauma Transformed (T2) and Cross-System CSEC initiatives.
