The University of Idaho is looking to fill 2 Athletic Trainer positions for the upcoming school year (2026-27). Potential sport assignments are track and field/cross country and swim and dive. The Athletic Trainer will assist full-time certified athletic trainers with providing athletic training services to student athletes. These positions are designed for new graduates or those wanting an entry position into Division 1 athletics. Pay is $20-$23/hr based on experience and is overtime eligible. Duties/Responsibilities Provide assistance with the operations of the department by: •Travel with assigned sports teams or others as assigned •Assisting in administration of Institutional Substance Abuse Program •Inventory management and control •Supervision and instruction of athletic training students as assigned •Assist in equipment maintenance and daily monitoring of aquatic equipment •Gain proficiency in use and development of EMR systems •Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned by Director of Athletic Training and Full Time Athletic Trainers

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a CAATE accredited athletic training program
- Eligible for Idaho State Board of Medicine Licensure
- Current CPR PRO (or equivalent) certification
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional demeanor with student athletes, doctors, and athletic training staff
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Be able to work cooperatively with athletic training and department staff
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid instructor certification
- Previous experience with EMR systems
