Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate basketball drills, stations, and skill-development sessions.
  • Set up and break down courts, equipment, and training materials.
  • Adapt instruction and drill progressions to accommodate various age groups and ability levels.
  • Provide clear demonstrations and teaching cues.
  • Foster a positive, disciplined, and encouraging environment.
  • Ensure the safety of all participants.
  • Maintain professionalism with athletes, families, and staff.
  • Support program directors with session organization and execution.
  • Assist with maintaining equipment and clean training spaces.

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of prior experience coaching or working with youth athletes (basketball preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals.
  • Patience, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.
  • Background check required.
