Following the extraordinary success of Queensland athletes at the recent Olympic and Paralympic Games, we are now focused on delivering even more medal-winning moments through to Los Angeles 2028 and our home Games in 2032.

Our ambitious high-performance strategy for the 2032 Games is to create more medal-winning moments for Queensland athletes that inspire their state and nation. While our strategy guides our performance, our culture truly delivers it. Given our vision, our culture is vitally important to us.

The successful candidate will have the rare and privileged opportunity to find and support new and existing talented athletes and coaches throughout Queensland who have the potential to play centre stage in unprecedented future Olympic and Paralympic medal success for Queensland, and Australia, in the backdrop 2032 Home Games.

Your leadership is set within the context of leading a medium sized team with large ambition. You will evolve the talent identification and development programs and coach development landscape in Queensland. We have set an ambitious target to double our para pipeline for 2032. You will ensure that Queensland has an over supply of athletic talent for targeted sports for 2028 and 2032 and its high performing coaches are able to deliver world class outcomes at critical stage of the development pathway.
