Soccer Operations Internship – Summer 2025 (May – August) – NC Courage  (Credit Hours Only)

The North Carolina Football Club is seeking a Soccer Operations Intern that will play a vital role in the seamless functioning of our U23s team, collaborating closely with the Operations Coordinator to handle travel logistics, player registration, and training session preparations. Additionally, you will be a key player in ensuring match-day success during playoffs, taking charge of roster submissions, timeline execution, and post-match logistics. When not engaged with the U23s, you will have the unique opportunity to learn the daily operations of the first teams, like the NWSL’s NC Courage.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

Travel Coordination:

  • Work closely with the operations coordinator to manage travel logistics for the U23s, ensuring smooth transitions between locationsPlayer

Registration:

  • Plan and execute all player registrations, maintain accurate and up-to-date recordsTraining Session Logistics: o   Secure appropriate training sites, coordinate equipment needs, and facilitate the execution of effective training sessions

Playoff Support:

  • Travel with the team during playoffs, overseeing match day logistics, including roster submissions, timeline execution, and post-match arrangements

First Team Exposure:

  • Gain insights into the daily operations of the first team, enhancing your understanding of professional sports management.

Equipment Set-Ups:

  • Collaborate with the Equipment Manager to assist in training set-ups, ensuring all necessary equipment is prepared for practices and events.

Social Media:

  • Working with the NC Courage social media department to help capture engaging content to match the progress of the U23 teams.

Home Match Day Support:

  • Connecting with the NC Courage coaching and match day staff for team operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient knowledge in the sport of soccer
  • Eager to learn and hard working
  • Organized and professional
  • Proactive work ethic
  • Currently enrolled in local university or technical school, and looking to earn school credit towards course credit or for required academic internship
