About the Role
At SSMG Anderson, we don’t just coordinate social and corporate competitions; we build communities. We are looking for a Sports Coordinator who can balance the art of selling with the precision of delivering game-day logistics.
In this role, you won’t just be sitting behind the desk. You’ll also be the face of our leagues, driving revenue through new registrations and retention ensuring that every player has a world-class experience
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Growth
- Identify and pursue new leads for league registrations across a variety of venues
- Manage a sales pipeline from initial enquiry to season sign-up
- Develop sales strategies to increase sales conversion
- Commitment to retaining teams on an ongoing basis
Game Day Management
- Oversee on-site operations, ensuring matches start on time and facilities are prepared
- Support officials and referees on game day
- Enforce league rules, registrations and safety protocols to ensure a fair and competitive environment
Customer Service + Community Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for team captains and participants
- Resolve disputes or feedback with a professional, solution-oriented mindset
- Support a vibrant social media presence to engage the community and celebrate highlights.
Systems
- Commitment to high compliance of utilising competition management software
- Contribute to the lead management utilising CRM system
- Support the continuous improvement of existing systems

Qualifications
- Previous experience in sports management or high-volume retail/sales
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask and manage logistics in a physical and active environment
